She began her music studies at the age of 7 at Universidad Nacional de Colombia and for 18 years until obtaining the professional diploma in Classical Music - Viola. Class of Anibal DosSantos (solo viola Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá).

Since 2013 she has been working as a composer, producer, performer and improviser for interdisciplinary projects with dance, cinéma, theater and performance arts in Europe and Latin America. In 2013, she cocreated the independent label MOMENTANEA for the promotion of jazz and improvised music.

In 2020 she started the pedagogical project AMARELA, willing to provide a link between artistic creation and alternative educational methods, and a space for interaction between pedagogues and artists from different cultures. 

She has published records, programmed concerts, festivals and masterclasses in France, Germany, Italy and Colombia
